First day: Setting off
After a long day, I arrive back to my ship from business between some friends of mine of a dealing of some tea containers for our new guests, or in other words, the crew's leashes, for they wouldn't dare to act with her aboard with me and those pieces of dirt. Anyway, I had some strange encounters of how everyone seems to avoid and wary of me, for I have caught more than often a passing stare of beggars and other lower class scum. Probably they are envious of my property I have, or...maybe the crew's doing? Spreading false rumors about me. How stupid of them, because rumors can't destroy me. However, when I had arrived, Mr. Keetch tells me that the two families have been delayed on the travel, one with an ill child, and other late. Coincedence? Could be more excuses, made by the crew? Smart, I must admit, but not enough. Our last guest, Miss Charlotte Doyle, the daughter of a high ranking officer in a shipping company in England, who actually recommended me for the travel. I am wholly thankful for such act, for now Ms. Doyle could save my life! It is a good thing that Ms. Doyle is here as a witness for whatever might happen, either dangerous or not, although she will be the crew's leash, the witness, for they wouldn't dare to act with her aboard with me and those cowardy pieces of dirt. However, I still need more followers. Since I punished that dog, Cranick, the old crew have joined this voyage once more, for I recognize them as I pass them sometimes on the deck. It is obvious something is going to happen. It seems Mr. Keetch is the only one who is the newest crew member, and I SHALL have him on my side. I have decided to trick him into believing lies. I must protect myself! Also, I shall treat Ms. Doyle with extra care and kindness as well, to make her help me. I have already sent Zachariah, the cook, to open some of the boxes of tea for our special guest and serve it to her. This should calm her down. However, Zachariah is a crew member, so I sent Mr. Keetch to spy. And of course, Zachariah has tried to recruit her somehow. He offered his friendship, along with a dirk, probably in case I try to harm her. He is trying to make her trust him! It shall be the just the opposite soon, and the crew will have a big surprise on their big day if it comes...I will start thinking about a plan.
Second day: The Plan
Today was another tedious day, where I had to greet the crew, though I can confirm my suspicion that everyone on the last voyage except Cranick and Mr. Keeth is on board. Also, I managed to talk with Ms. Doyle for a short while, trying to make myself proper and a gentleman to her, so she will start to trust me, but already I think she does, finding the way she talks and looks at me. She petitioned me, asking a question. However, her notions? She wants to leave the boat instead! Her excuse is that she is sick, and she certainty looks sick. Not to worry though for everyone has problems the first time they ride a ship. I have told Zachariah to take care of her, though obviously I made sure that either Mr. Keetch or I check on him every hour in case something dangerous might happen. Anyway, I have thought of a crude plan, which involves making Ms. Doyle think I am the same as her and kind acts. The rest I still need to think about.
Third day: Mr. Keetch tells me that Ms. Doyle now knows the story of my last voyage, although probably that version is full of fake and dirty details made up for her to believe and put me in a bad spot. Bad luck! I think she has some suspicions now, as she seems warier of the ship. After that had happened, I had Mr. Keetch tell her that she was invited for some special tea I stored in the pots next to my family frames. There, I talked and pretended to be happy for her (she seemed to like my daughter), but also told her to keep a lookout for the round robin. Mutiny brings me no scares, for I have to only guns on the ship, and there are more than enough. However, I was dismayed when she pulled out the dirk given to her by Zachariah a few days ago! I faked that I didn't know where it came from, and she lied as well. Does she not trust me? That Zachariah, planting fake stories and lies in her head. Obviously she isn't as stupid as she looks. I might need to be careful, although I doubt it.
